Why Learn Capoeira?
Benefits of Capoeira
The art of Capoeira offers substantial benefits to physical and mental health, strength, flexibility, endurance, self-esteem and discipline. Everyone has the ability to learn Capoeira; however, each person expresses their knowledge of it in a unique manner.
Why should you learn capoeira?
Capoeira is at once a widely communal and a deeply individual experience. Once you become a capoeira player - a 'capoeirsta' - you form an instant bond with thousands of people across the globe who share your passion. At the same time, you will gain the ability to do things that most of the general public could never dream of doing, and in doing so you will discover a true sense of uniqueness.
The Capoeira Angola Roda is one of the rituals of Afro-Brazilian culture that is still alive and practiced today. It is a time for the students to practice the movements they have been training. The challenges that they offer one another enable the students to improve their skills as well as having a fun game.
